club officers and gpaaHey guy's just logged on nice site by the way, my question to you is are you affiliated or a gpaa chapter? we have created a prospectors club here in southern Ohio and we were told by a Ohio chapter of the gpaa that if we start a club that is not affiliated with gpaa that we could not be members of gpaa any longer something about it's in violation of the gpaa bylaws. we have contacted the gpaa but have gotten no response on this matter nor have they sent us a copy of their bylaws which we have requested. Thanks for any input you can give.

Just wanted to say I did get ahold of Kenny Rucker over at the gpaa home office and was told that there is no rule that restricts a gpaa member from holding an officer position in another club. They were very good about resolving this issue I had with them, and took a good deal of time to verify this as well I must say I was impressed with their enthusiasm to put this matter to bed and they reassured me that my membership with them was safe no matter how many prospecting clubs I was involved with. This was great news and hope this helps anyone that may run into a similar situation or has the same questions
