The DCPA will be participating in the Wagon Train Reenactment at Sunny Valley on October 11 at I-5 exit 71. Our club will be putting on panning demonstrations for the visitors. I'm hoping Barbara and I can get there early enough.

Well, we had a great time. 8 members showed up to man the panning booth. We enjoyed Buffalo Stew for lunch then watched a real life Shotgun Wedding. The weather was great and we had lots of people pan or watch as we panned their concentrates.
Hopefully we planted the seeds that will encourage more people to get out and have a good time.
