I have a 4' Keene Sluice Box, I have purchased miners moss for it. How much moss do you guys put in your sluice boxes, Full length or a short piece?

Hi, It is usualy your own preference. I my self have two sluice box's one is half miners moss with the ribbed carpet under it all the wat to the end, the other is miners moss all the way with the rubber deep "V" matting under it.
I have found that the use of the carpet or ribbed "V" under the miners moss seems to catch more fines and blck snd than just the miners moss by its self.
Good luck
